Brookville, N.Y. - Earlier in week, QC came out ahead in their extra-inning game with Molloy, but on Friday, in Brookville, they weren't as fortunate, dropping a 2-1 decision to LIU Post in 10 innings.  Cameron Burt threw eight innings in the start.

Queens jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second when Matt Dawkins worked a one-out walk.  He moved to third on a single by Joseph Paparella and came in on an RBI base hit from Matthew Walsh.  James Donohue also singled in the inning, but was stranded.

The Pioneers tied the game with a run in the third.  The game remained tied until the tenth ining when LIU Post got a run on three singles and won 2-1.  Burt allowed an unearned run and just six hits in eight innings of work.  Greg Gonzalez was tagged with the loss.

These two teams continue their series on Saturday, April 25, at Queens College.  The doubleheader is slated to begin at noon.
