FLUSHING, N.Y. – On Wednesday, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division II All-American Teams, as Queens College senior outfielder Vincent Mallon (Massapequa, N.Y.) earned Third Team All-American honors.

Mallon becomes the third Knight in the last five seasons to receive All-American recognition and just the fourth player in program history to earn the prestigious honor.

The Massapequa native was one of five players selected from the East Region and one of two student-athletes representing the East Coast Conference on the All-American teams.

In his lone season in Flushing, Mallon added to an impressive list of accolades after being named to the All-East Coast Conference First Team, the NCBWA All-East Region First Team, and the D2 CCA All-East Region Second Team.

The Massapequa, N.Y. native started all 39 games and led the Knights with a .406 batting average, ranking seventh in single-season program history. He compiled a .797 slugging percentage, a .500 on-base percentage, and a 1.297 OPS while totaling 58 hits, 13 doubles, two triples, and 13 home runs. His 13 home runs tied the program's single-season record and marked the most by a Queens player since 1998.

Mallon also drew 26 walks, stole 17 bases, scored 44 runs, and drove in 49 RBI, tied for the fourth-most RBI in a single season in program history. He recorded a team-best 19 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI performances, while putting together an eight-game hitting streak and a 10-game on-base streak during the season.
