He then caught Giovanni LaSalandra looking for the inning's second out. After a Ken Post walk, Scott Hagan reached after Knights third baseman, Lenny Torres mishandled a groundball to the hot corner. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, McQuade smoked a go-ahead double to left center driving in pinch runner Dan Cleery and Hagan. Mercy (4-8) would add one more on a Jesus Jaile RBI single to left to drive in McQuade. Coalla earned his first victory of the season after staying in to finish off the bottom of the ninth.
