Ray Earns All-ECC First Team Honors as Men’s Cross Country Competes in ECC Championship

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Queens College men's cross country team traveled to Williamsville to compete in the East Coast Conference Cross Country Championship at Bassett Park.
 
Senior John Ray paced the Knights with an All-ECC first-team performance as the Bellerose native earned a 6th place finish with a time of 26:19.4 to become the first Knight since the 2013 season to earn All-ECC honors.
 
Sophomore Daniel DeGregori rounded the course in 27:39.7 to earn a 17th place finish, senior Peter Hoffmann recorded a time of 29:43.7 to earn a 36th place finish.
 
Senior Kyle Daniels recorded a time of 30:32.3 to earn a 41st place finish, while sophomore Dean Tirado notched a time of 30:36.5 for a 42nd place finish and sophomore Musa Mazreku rounded the course in 31:26.5 for a 49th place finish as six Knights recorded a top 50 finish.
 
Overall the Knights placed fifth out of seven teams.
