Mow and DeGregori Shine at Golden Eagles Invitational as Queens Cross Country Season Takes Off

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The 2025 Queens College men's and women's cross country season officially got underway Saturday morning as the Knights competed in the Golden Eagles Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's University– L.I. on the campus of Stony Brook University.
 

5K Women's Highlights

  • Senior Rachel Mow led the Knights with a fourth-place finish as she completed the course in 20:03.1.
  • Newcomer Keira Whitaker placed 28th with a time of 23:34.1
  • Senior Maria Flores placed 53rd with a time of 26:38.9.
  • Rookie Kezia Hamilton rounded the course in 28:17.6, while senior Jennifer Salazar completed the course in 28:17.8.

8K Men's Highlights

  • Junior Daniel DeGregori was the top Knight to finish among the men as he earned a third-place finish with a time of 28:27.0.
  • Rookie Nathanael Hansen placed 18th as he rounded the course in 29:52.2.
  • Junior Nickolas Pirovolikos recorded a time of 30:30.8 to place 26th as the Knights recorded three finishers in the Top 30.
  • Sophomore David Earl Boyd placed 41st with a time of 32:35.6.
  • Sophomore Mateo Serringer recorded a time of 33:33.1 to place 49th.
  • Freshman Christian Panameno finished the course in 34:10.4 to place 54th.

The Knights head to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., on Sunday, Sept. 28 as they compete in the 2025 Queensborough Cross Country Invitational.
