FLUSHING, N.Y. – The final week of the regular season has arrived as the Queens College baseball team continues East Coast Conference play with a four-game series.
The Knights match up against the Spartans of Saint Thomas Aquinas College as the series begins with back-to-back road games in Pomona, N.Y. on Thursday (May 4) and Friday (May 5) evening at Clover Stadium.
The series comes to a close in Flushing with a Saturday (May 6) afternoon doubleheader.
Scouting the Knights (Overall Record: 27-14, 11-7 ECC)
The Knights are coming off splitting an ECC doubleheader against D'Youville on Friday afternoon in Flushing before weather played spoiled for the rest of the series.
With the second NCAA Baseball East Regional rankings releasing on Wednesday afternoon, head coach

Jorsixt Jimenez (Queens, N.Y.) has earned four ECC Rookie of the Week honors of the year.

As a team, the Knights are batting .319 with 426 hits, 267 RBI, 293 runs scored, and have earned 217 walks in 1336 At-Bats.
Leading the Way
- Senior Anthony Fontana (Wantagh, N.Y.) is batting .395 with 47 hits, 26 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple, six home runs, and 39 RBI.
- Fontana has tallied 15 multi-hit games with six three-hit games and with the latest one coming against Lincoln (Apr. 15).
- Rookie Jimenez is batting .389 with 56 hits, 13 doubles, one triple, six home runs, 37 runs scored, and a team-high 48 RBI.
- Jimenez has 17 multi-hit games to go with a four four-hit performance with the most recent one coming against Mercy (Apr. 23).
- The Queens native has recorded a team-high 13 multi-RBI games on the game having recorded seven (2RBI), 4 (3RBI), one (4RBI), and one (5RBI) games on the year.
- Cisco is batting .367 with 44 hits, 44 runs scored, nine doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 21 RBI.
- The sophomore has tallied 12 multi-hit games with four three-hit performances and seven multi-RBI games on the season.
- Senior Reed Hoskins (Freeport, N.Y.) is batting .328 with 41 hits, six doubles, and five home runs, with 30 RBI and 26 runs scored.
- The senior has tallied 10 multi-hit games on the season with one five-hit performance.
- The Freeport native became the first Knight to hit for the cycle in game two of the SCSU (Apr. 2) series (5-5 AB, 2B, 3B, HR, 3RBI).
- On the mound, junior Jordan Sanabria (Woodside, N.Y.) leads the team with five wins, while senior Dean Fazah (Queens, N.Y.) and freshman Christopher Naronis (Floral Park, N.Y.) and Pulsipher have combined for 12 wins.
- Junior Danny Gargano (Middle Island, N.Y.) leads the Knights and the conference with nine saves on the season.
