FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Queens College baseball team welcomes Franklin Pierce University Ravens to Flushing for a Friday doubleheader. Game 1 will begin at 11:30 a.m., game two will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game 1.

Franklin Pierce Series History
The Knights will match up against the Ravens for a Friday doubleheader with the meeting being their 13th and 14thoverall in program history. Queens is 2-10 overall against Franklin Pierce with the first coming in 1998 as the Knights took the first matchup 16-6 in Rindge, New Hampshire. The last win came during the 2014 season as the Knights off #12 Ravens in Myrtle Beach with a 5-3 victory. Both wins have come with head coach Chris Reardon part of the team, first win as a player and second win as the head coach. 
 
The Knights are on a two-game skid against the East region powerhouse with the last four meetings taking place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
 
The Ravens are visiting Flushing for the first time since the 2014 season. 

Scouting the Knights
Queens bounced back Tuesday as they defeated Post University 6-3 Tuesday afternoon to move to 5-3 overall on the young season. 
 
In the latest NCBWA East Region poll released on Monday, the Knights find themselves ranked #9 to stay in the top 10. 
 
The offense is led by freshman infielder Marc Cisco (Long Island City, N.Y.) who leads the Knights with a .483 batting average, .586 slugging, and an on-base percentage of .515. He is tied for team-high hits (14) and RBIs (10), doubles (3) on the season. He takes an eight-game hit streak into Friday's doubleheader. 
 
While junior outfielder Jayson Rodopoulos (Scarsdale, N.Y.) has continued his hot start to the season batting .467, .767slugging percentage, and a .541 on-base percentage. The Scarsdale native is tied for hits (14) first in triples and tied for first in home runs (2). He has driven in eight runs on the season. 
 
Both Rodopoulos and Cisco earned top honors on Feb. 28 from the East Coast Conference office with Rodopoulos being named Player of the week and Cisco being named Rookie of the week. 
 
Scouting the Ravens
 
Ravens enter flushing being ranked #5 in the East region and are 5-5 on the young season. They are on a three-game skid dropping games to West Chester, Frostburg State, and ECC foe St. Thomas Aquinas College in Cary, North Carolina. 
 
Charles Lebron leads the offense batting. 341, OBP .404, SLG. 390, team-high 14 hits, two doubles, nine RBIs on the season. While Ryan Lavelle and Ian Battipaglia are tied for second with 13 hits. 
 
Next Series
 
The Knights will host Assumption College Greyhounds for a three-game series beginning with Saturday (Mar. 19) afternoon doubleheader. The first pitch is set for noon.
