ORLANDO, FLA. - The Queens College softball team completed its opening weekend at the Citrus Classic with a 3-1 victory over Dominican.

The Knights scored all four of their runs in the fourth inning.  Kristen Boody came across after a bases loaded walk to Lauren Pascual.  Kylie Spillett and Kayla Morrissey scored the final two runs of the inning, coming across on sacrifice flies by Deanna Burbridge and Alyssa Neal.

The Chargers scored their only run of the game in the third, scored by Emily Luzetsky.  ToniMarie Valeriano picked up the win, going the distance.

QC returns to action Sunday, Mar. 13 at Georgian Court.
