FLUSHING, N.Y. – On Wednesday afternoon, the East Coast Conference announced its 2026 All-Conference selections, with the Queens College softball team placing four student-athletes on the list.
For the fourth consecutive season, head coach
Amy Delmore and her staff have guided four Knights to All-ECC honors.
Junior
Caylea Campbell (Murrieta, CA.) earned First Team honors, while juniors
Kadie Cain (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and
Olivia Wanser (Westbury, N.Y.), along with rookie
Nellie Donahue (Levittown, N.Y.), were named to the All-ECC Second Team.
Campbell collected First Team recognition for the first time since her rookie campaign, earning the honor as a utility player/pitcher. She appeared in 33 games with 29 starts, recording 25 hits, one double, three RBI, six walks, and eight runs scored. The junior posted four multi-hit games and a season-best seven-game hitting streak.
In the circle, Campbell made 17 appearances with 14 starts, tallying three wins, six complete games, and one shutout over 84.2 innings. She allowed 110 hits and 56 earned runs while striking out 56 batters. On April 13, she recorded her fourth career shutout in a 3-0 victory over Dominican University, striking out a season-high 11 batters.
Cain earned Second Team honors for the second straight season after transitioning to third base. Starting all 39 games, she posted a career-best .377 batting average, leading the team with 49 hits. She added seven doubles, one triple, 13 RBI, seven walks, and a team-high 20 runs scored.
The Hauppauge native recorded a team-best 18 multi-hit games and three multi-RBI performances. She will carry a 10-game hitting streak and a reached-base streak into her senior season in 2027.
In her first season as a Knight, Wanser delivered a standout offensive campaign, starting all 39 games as the team's designated player. She led the team with a .489 batting average (eighth nationally), a .641 on-base percentage (first nationally), and a .841 slugging percentage (13th nationally). Wanser also drew 38 walks, ranking third in the nation and setting a new program single-season record.
The junior totaled 43 hits, four doubles, a team-best nine home runs, 32 RBI, and 13 runs scored. She recorded 13 multi-hit games, a team-high eight multi-RBI games, a 13-game hitting streak, and reached base in 31 consecutive games. On April 7, Wanser was named to the NFCA Division II Weekly Honor Roll.
Donahue became the program's second rookie to earn All-ECC honors since Campbell in 2024. She made a team-high 25 appearances with 19 starts, posting seven wins and 11 complete games.
The rookie logged 117.0 innings, allowing 117 hits and 66 earned runs while striking out 107 batters, ranking among the top five strikeout totals by a freshman in program history. On April 13, Donahue set a program rookie record with 15 strikeouts in a 4-2 win over Dominican University. Her total marked the highest by a Queens pitcher since 2015 and the second-highest by a Division II freshman this season. On April 21, Donahue was named to the NFCA Division II Weekly Honor Roll.
