Manchester, N.H. - The Queens College softball team lost to LIU Post, 2-0, for just the second time in seven games, in the NCAA Regional in Manchester, New Hampshire on Friday.  Isabelle Yaroch tossed a complete game two-hitter for the Knights.

Yaroch was strong in her seven innings of work.  She fanned seven Pioneers and gave up just a single and a homer in the second inning.

Queens had a two-out rally in the fourth.  Behind 2-0, Monique Roberge singled through the left side.  Samantha Mattsson with a single to short.  But the rally was squelched there as Kylie Spillett hit into a fielder's choice.  QC got two runners on in their final at-bat, but failed to score.

Mattsson connected on her second hit of the day.  Three batters later, Stevianne Ognibene was hit by a pitch.  the next batter grounded out and the Pioneers had a 2-0 win.

With the setback, the Knights fall into the loser's bracket where they will face Stonehill on Saturday, as the Skyhawks fell to the host, Southern New Hampshire, in the earlier game of the day.
