FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Queens College women's lacrosse team's school-history-setting start to the 2012 season continued Saturday afternoon, as head coach Tricia Moran Bonagura's Knights moved to 4-0 on the campaign with a 19-11 victory over visiting Holy Family University.

Junior midfielder Sarah Boucher (Oceanside, N.Y.) used her speed to score seven points (6 g, 1 a) and a team-best six draw controls for QC, while senior Meghan Monahan (Amityville, N.Y.) collected a hat trick to go with three assists. Sophomore goalie Kahli Evans (Adelaide, Australia) continued her sparkling play in the Knights' cage, turning aside a season-best 19 shots to earn the win.

A 7-1 spurt by the hosts sent Queens to a 7-2 lead late in the first half, en route to a 9-5 halftime advantage.

After the teams traded one goal apiece in the first two-plus minutes of the second frame, Boucher scored two of her goals in a 5-0 run to push the lead to nine goals (15-6) midway through the stanza.

The Knights are back in action at home on Monday afternoon, when they play host to Dominican College at 4 p.m.
