FLUSHING, N.Y. – After spending last week on the road, the Queens College women's volleyball team returns home for its lone match of the week on Thursday evening, welcoming Georgian Court University to town.
 
The Knights spent last week in Philadelphia and Wilmington, matching up against regional foes while competing in the Wildcats Regional Invitational.
 
As a team, the Knights have totaled 376 kills at 9.2 per set, 355 assists at 8.7 per set, 86 service aces at 2.1 per set, 530 digs at 12.9 per set, and 47 blocks at 1.1 per set.
 
Rookie Zoe Sercu leads Queens with 116 kills at 2.83 kills per set and has recorded two double-doubles. Last week, Sercu recorded her second career double-double with 14 kills and a career-best 18 digs against Chestnut Hill. Against Holy Family, she recorded a career-best five service aces.
 
Following a five-match week, junior Olivia Hyman was named to the East Coast Conference Honor Roll. Hyman recorded 50 digs, 20 assists, 11 service aces, and 11 kills. She was named to the Wildcats Regional Invitational All-Tournament Team on Saturday after recording her first double-double of the year with 13 assists and 13 digs against host Wilmington. Against Saint Anselm, Hyman tallied 16 digs, while against Adelphi, she recorded four service aces.

Georgian Court University Preview

Georgian Court enters Flushing with an overall record of 3-8 and is coming off a four-set loss to Jefferson in conference play Tuesday evening.
 
Thursday's matchup will be the 20th all-time meeting between the two sides, with the Knights trailing the series, 9-10. In the last three meetings, the Knights have emerged victorious twice, earning a home sweep in 2024 and a five-set neutral-site victory at East Stroudsburg in 2025.

NEXT WEEK OUTLOOK

A three-match road swing opens next week, starting on Tuesday in Pleasantville against Pace University before the start of their East Coast Conference opener in Rockville Centre on Saturday afternoon against Molloy University.
