FLUSHING, N.Y. – Staying on the road, the Queens College women's volleyball team heads to Philadelphia and Delaware, for a five-match week.
 
The Knights are coming off a challenging week that saw them face three regional opponents, including competing in the SCSU Tri-Match.
 
The young Knights have totaled 227 kills, averaging 9.1 kills per set, along with 219 assists (8.8 per set), 55 service aces (2.2 per set), 280 digs (11.2 per set) and 33 blocks (1.3 per set).
 
Rookie Zoe Sercu leads Queens with 69 kills, averaging 2.76 kills per set, while adding nine service aces and seven blocks. In her first career start, Sercu recorded a double-double with a match-high 17 kills and 12 digs, along with four service aces, to help the Knights rally for a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Post University in the season opener. On Saturday, Sercu added 14 kills against Franklin Pierce University in Queens' second five-set match of the season. On Aug. 31, she was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.
 
Rookie Jaslynn Daily leads the Knights with 108 assists, averaging 4.32 assists per set. On Monday, Daily was named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll after delivering a career-best week with 72 assists, 32 digs, four blocks and five kills across three matches. Daily opened the week with 13 assists and six digs against Felician University before recording 21 assists, seven digs and one block against Southern Connecticut State University at the SCSU Tri-Match. Against Franklin Pierce, the Washington native posted her second double-double of the season with a career-best 38 assists, 19 digs and three blocks. During a marathon second set in which Queens and Franklin Pierce combined for 76 points, Daily tallied 14 assists.
 
Middle blockers Mikayla Haskell and Garnette Webb have combined for 88 kills and 27 blocks this season.
 
Queens opens the week Tuesday in Philadelphia against Chestnut Hill College before traveling to Wilmington, Delaware, to compete in the 2026 Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Wilmington University.

Chestnut Hill College Preview

Chestnut Hill enters Tuesday's match with a 2-4 overall record and is coming off a three-set loss at Mercy University. The match will mark the seventh meeting between the two programs, with the all-time series tied at 3-3. The Knights earned a four-set victory over the Griffins in the most recent meeting in Flushing.
 
Tuesday will mark Queens' first road match at Chestnut Hill since 2017, when the Knights earned a five-set victory.

2026 Wildcat Invitational

Queens travels to Delaware for the first time since the 2023 season, when the Knights went 3-0 at the two-day invitational. This year, Queens will face Adelphi University Panthers, Holy Family University Tigers, Saint Anselm College Hawks and host Wilmington.

Adelphi University Preview

Adelphi enters the week with a 2-6 overall record and will face Holy Family on Thursday before meeting the Knights. Friday's match will mark the 20th meeting between the two programs and their first neutral-site matchup since 2019.
 
Queens will look to earn its first victory over the Panthers since 2008, when the Knights secured a four-set win.

Holy Family University Preview

Holy Family enters the week with a 1-4 overall record and will face East Stroudsburg University and Adelphi before meeting Queens Friday afternoon. The match will mark the eighth meeting between the two programs, with the Knights trailing the all-time series, 3-4.
 
It will be the second consecutive season the teams have met on a neutral court and the third neutral-site meeting in the last four seasons. Queens is seeking its first win over the Tigers since 2024, when the Knights earned a three-set sweep. The Knights will also look to earn their second straight neutral-site victory over Holy Family in Delaware after securing a four-set win in their previous meeting there.

Saint Anselm College Preview

The Hawks enters the week with a 4-2 record after going 2-2 over the weekend in Bristol, Tennessee. The Hawks will face Wilmington, Daemen University and Holy Family before meeting Queens Saturday morning.
 
Saturday's match will be the eighth meeting between the programs, with Queens trailing the all-time series, 2-5. It will be the first meeting since 2024, when the Knights hosted Saint Anselm and earned a four-set victory.
 
The matchup will also mark the first neutral-site meeting between the teams since 2018, when Queens faced the Hawks in East Stroudsburg.

Wilmington University Preview

The Wildcats enters the week with an 0-8 record after competing in two invitationals during the opening two weekends of the season. The Wildcats will be the final opponent Queens faces at the Wildcat Invitational.
 
Saturday's match will mark the sixth meeting between the two programs, with the Knights holding a 3-2 advantage in the all-time series. The teams have combined for nine sets across their last two meetings, with Queens earning a five-set victory in Flushing in 2025 and a four-set victory at the 2023 Wildcat Invitational.

NEXT WEEK OUTLOOK

Queens returns home for its lone match of the week Thursday, Sept. 17, when the Knights welcome Georgian Court University to Flushing.
