NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – For the third time in the last fours seasons, the Queens College baseball team advanced to the East Coast Conference Championship game.
Having dropped the opening game of the tournament, the Knights had to fare off elimination twice on Friday to advance to their third conference appearance since the 2022 season.
On Saturday, the Knights matched up against defending champions and #1 seed Molloy University Lions for the second time in the tournament and needed to defeat the Lions twice to win their third title in program history and second in the last three years.
The Lions took an 8-0 lead after the top of the third but as the Knights rallied to get within three, 8-5 after four complete innings of play, Molloy would outscore Queens 9-4 over the next four innings of play to earn a 17-9 victory and the 2025 Championship.
The 2025 season ends in the ECC Championship game after the Knights avoided elimination twice on Friday to advance to the championship game.
