COLONIA, N.J. – On Tuesday, Apr. 8 the East Coast Conference office announced the ninth men's tennis weekly report sheet and three Queens College men's tennis student-athletes were awarded for their performances for matches played from Mar. 31 – Apr. 6
 
The trio of junior Lucas Foix Sotos (Javea, Spain), rookie Adam Laur (Boulogne Billancourt, France), sophomore Loup Alleno (Paris, France) were awarded weekly honors as they were named to the Honor Roll sheet.

Honor Roll - Adam Laur (Boulogne Billancourt, France)

Laur helped the Knights clinch the ECC series sweep over STAC with a three-set victory over Henry Ronnberg at the #6 court. In the deciding match at #6 court, Laur would win the first set 6-4 before Ronnbery forced the deciding third set. In the third set, Laur rallied twice as he trailed 0-1, 2-3, Laur would win the final four match points to earn a 6-4 match victory and help Queens earn a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Honor Roll - Loup Alleno (Paris, France)

Alleno went 2-0 earning victories at #3 doubles and #2 singles court against STAC to help Queens complete the series sweep. Alleno began the day earning a 6-3 victory with partner Lucas Foix Sotos at #3 doubles over Ondrej Sramek and Erik Victor Tauson. The sophomore helped the Knights rally earning a victory at the #2 singles court over Lorenzo Meshini with a two-set victory to the score of 6-3, 7-5.

Foix Sotos went 2-0 earning victories at #3 doubles and #1 singles court against STAC to help Queens complete the series sweep. Foix Sotos began the day earning a 6-3 victory with partner Loup Alleno at #3 doubles over Ondrej Sramek and Erik Victor Tauson. The junior would help the Knights rally with a crucial victory at #1 singles with a two-set victory over nationally-ranked #59 Seth Newman to the score of 6-4, 7-5, and complete his undefeated day.

Head coach Somadi Druker and the Knights continue non-conference play on Wednesday, Apr. 9 as they welcome Chestnut Hill College Griffins to town. The first serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
