FLUSHING, N.Y.  – The Queens College softball team hosts their first doubleheader of the season as they welcome East Stroudsburg University Warriors to Flushing Sunday afternoon.

East Stroudsburg Series History
Both sides are meeting for the first time since the 2007 season with the Knights trailing the series 2-0. The Warriors took the first doubleheader over the Knights in Flushing back on May 1
, 2007, winning game one 1-0 in eight innings before taking the nightcap 6-0. 
 
Scouting the Knights 
Queens
 (0-4 overall) are in search of their first win of the season and will be looking to end a four-game skid having dropped doubleheaders to Georgian Court and Adelphi.  
 
Freshman 
Emma Zumpol (Patchogue, N.Y.) leads the Knights in the hits column with three hits in four games played. Zumpol tallied her first multi-hit game of the season against Adelphi on Friday afternoon. While four players are tied for second with two hits on the season as the Knights search for their offense on the young season.
 
Scouting the Warriors
East Stroudsburg 
(15-1 overall) enters Flushing on an 11-game winning streak and is coming off of a Tuesday sweep over Holy Family University. 
 
Brooke McKeown leads the Warriors with a team-high batting average of .379 and has tallied 22 hits with 16 RBIs on the season. While Ashley Spencer leads the team in RBIs with 18 while batting .318 on the season with two home runs. 
 
Next Series
The Knights will open East Coast Conference play against Molloy College Lions in Rockville Centre, N.Y. Tuesday (Mar. 22) afternoon. The first pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
