Delmore Announces 2023 Road Schedule

FLUSHING, N.Y. – On Friday (Dec. 30) morning, Queens College Softball head coach Amy Delmore announced the Knights 2023 away schedule. 
 
The Knights will match up in eight doubleheaders on the road which includes five East Coast Conference opponents and three regional opponents from the NE10 and CACC conferences. 
 
Following a 10-game schedule in the Sunshine State (to be released next week), Queens opens their schedule against one of the top regional opponents in the area and defending NCAA East Region champions in the NE10 member the Panthers on Adelphi University (2022 Record: 47-15) on Thursday (Mar. 16) afternoon. 

Following a short stay at home, Delmore and her squad hit the road with a trip to Hockessin, Delaware for the first in program history as they match up against CACC member Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College (2022 Record: 27-25) on Thursday (Mar. 23) afternoon in non-conference action. 
 
East Coast Conference play opens in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. as Queens faces off against the Mavericks of Mercy College (2022 Record: 11-38, ECC 9-15) on Saturday (Mar. 25) afternoon. 
 
Following a week at home, the Knights make the local trip to Rockville Centre, N.Y. as they match up against ECC foe Lions of Molloy University (2022 Record: 24-33, ECC 10-14) on Sunday (Apr. 2) afternoon. 
 
Queens will then travel to Buffalo, N.Y. for a weekend trip on Sunday (Apr. 16) afternoon as they match up against the Saints of D'Youville University (2022 Record: 29-14, ECC 15-9) in conference play. 
 
The Knights will travel to Staten Island, N.Y. on Tuesday (Apr. 18) afternoon as they face off against the College of Staten Island Dolphins (2022 Record: 12-26, ECC 6-18) in conference play. 
 
The regular concludes on the road for the Knights beginning with a non-conference match-up trip to Caldwell, N.J. against CACC member the Cougars of Caldwell University (2022 Record: 39-17) in a midweek matchup on Wednesday (Apr. 26) afternoon. 
 
Delmore and the Knights officially conclude the 2023 regular season on Saturday (Apr. 29) afternoon with a conference matchup against the Spartans of Saint Thomas Aquinas College (2022 Record: 28-21, 19-5) in Sparkill, N.Y.
 
The full season preview and roster outlook will be released in late February.
