FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Queens College volleyball team concludes the home portion of their schedule against Pace University Setters on Tuesday evening in non-conference action. The Setters return to the Flushing for the first time in four seasons when they defeated the Knights 3-1. The two sides locked heads for the first time in 1994 and have faced each other 22 times with the Knights trailing the series 9-13. Queens' last victory came in 2014 when the Knights took a four-set win on the road ending a three-game losing streak against the Setters. The last home victory came in 2008 as the Knights swept the Setters 3-0.

The Knights fell 3-1 in Flushing with the set scores of
19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 10-25. The offense was led by Cassidy Stewart who tallied 10 kills, while Nicoletta DiCocco notched nine kills and 14 digs on the night. Kristen Moore paced the Knights with 34 assists.
Scouting Queens College Knights
The Knights are 3-18 overall and will be looking to end a seven-game losing streak. On the season Queens is averaging 8.7 kills per set having combined for 618 kills with
Christina Franco and
Dee-Ana Mitchell leading the way with 159 and 120 kills. Franco earned
ECC Rookie of the Week honors for the first time as she notched her fifth double-double of the season with 14 kills and 18 digs in the loss to Roberts Wesleyan. The Knights are 2-6 overall in matches that have gone to four sets, while 1-12 in three sets.

The Setters are
1-19 overall and have lost 17 games in a row. They have tallied 595 kills on the season averaging 8.5 kills per set. Brielle Jones leads the offense with 191 kills, while Cydney Gardner has tallied 95 kills. As a team they are averaging 11.44 points per set while having committed 398 errors on the offense.
Next Match-up: The Knights conclude the 2021 season on Saturday (Nov. 13) as they travel to Rockville Centre with an East Coast Conference matchup against Molloy College. First serve is set for noon.
