WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – On Monday afternoon, the East Coast Conference office announced freshman
Christina Franco (Lynbrook, N.Y) has earned her first Rookie of the Week accolade.
This is Franco's second weekly award of the year since week one when she earned a honor roll spot on
Sept. 7.
The Lynbrook native tallied her fifth double-double of the season with a match-high 14 kills and 18 digs against Roberts Wesleyan College on Sunday. For the sixth consecutive game, she tallied 12 or more digs increasing her tally to a team-high 228 digs on the season.
The Knights conclude the home portion of their schedule on Tuesday (Nov. 9) as the Pace University Setters come to Flushing. First serve set for 7:00 p.m.
