FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Queens College women's swimming team concluded the month of November at the Golden Eagle Tri-Meet against host St. Joseph's College - LI and United States Merchant Marine Academy at Danzi Center Pool.
The Knights fell to St. Joseph's to the score of 120-40 and 143-23 against USMMA.
Highlights of the Tri-Meet
- Queens took third place in the 1000 Yard Freestyle as sophomore Laura Cruz Rosario (Queens, N.Y.) finished with a time of 13:48.09.
- In the 200 Yard Freestyle freshman Jillian Etnel (Blooming Grove, N.Y.) finished in sixth with a time of 2:20.13.
- In the 50 Yard Freestyle sophomore Kristen Flores (Bayside, N.Y.) earned a seventh-place finish in heat 2 with a time of 28:42.
UP NEXT: The Knights will conclude the first half of the season on December 4 as they travel back to Staten Island, N.Y. to part in the ECC Invite against host school College of Staten Island and Roberts Wesleyan College. The first event is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
