PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - The Queens College women's swimming team continued the regular season they took part in the SJC-LI Tri-Meet against host St. Joseph's College Golden Eagles and CUNY John Jay College Bloodhounds Saturday afternoon at Danzi Center Pool.
Highlights of the Tri-Meet
- Queens opened the day on a high note taking first place in the first event of the day in the 200 Yard Medley Relay as the team of sophomore Rory Chea (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) sophomore Kristen Flores (Bayside, N.Y.), freshman Jillian Etnel (Blooming Grove, N.Y.) and sophomore Laura Cruz Rosario (Queens, N.Y.) finished with a time of 2:10.65.
- Sophomore Alexis Hall (West River, MD) would take second place in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 47.68.
- In the 200 Yard Individual melody, Cruz took third place with a 2:50.81 finish.
- Entel would take second place in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:10.59.
UP NEXT: The Knights finally return to the Dina Axelrad Perry Pool for the first time since January 29, 2020, as they welcome Hunter College and Queensborough Community College on Monday (Nov. 15) in the Knights Tri-Meet at 6:00 p.m.
