FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College women's swimming returns to the pool as they get set to take part in the St. Joseph's College -LI Tri-Meet against CUNY John Jay College Bloodhounds and host St. Joseph's College – LI Golden Eagles in Patchogue, N.Y at the Danzi Center Pool.
Queens led by second-year head coach
John Yearwood opened the season with a split against College of Staten Island Tri-Meet as they picked up a victory over Mount Saint Mary College.
The Knights were led by sophomore
Rory Chea (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) who earned two first-place victories
Chea earned first place in the 200 Yard Individual melody with a time of 2:34.91. Later in the evening, the sophomore native would take first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a finish of 1:12.00.
NEXT MEET: The Knights finally return to the Dina Axelrad Perry Pool for the first time since January 29, 2020, as they welcome Hunter College and Queensborough Community College on Monday (Nov. 15) in the Knights Tri-Meet at 6:00 p.m.
