KINGS PARK, N.Y. (Oct. 13, 2018) - The Queens College cross country teams geared up for the East Coast Confefence Championship meet by taking to Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday (Oct. 13) for the 19th Annual St. Joseph's College Invitational.
In the women's race, Simone Gmuca posted a 27th-place finishing time of 21:39.8 to lead the Knights. Senior Diana Cruz claimed a top-30 finish, crossing the line in a time of 21:45.3 and Crystal Jia's time of 22:03.4 was good enough for 38th place overall.
Clivensky Etienne ran to a 27th-place finish in the men's race in a time of 29:13.2 and freshman Noel Guzman clocked a 63rd-place time of 30:20.8 to contribute to the efforts for Queens.
The Knights will race again on Nov. 3 at the ECC Championship meet in Rochester.
