Box Score Rochester, N.Y. - Despite a double-double performance from sophomore Arielle DiCocco (10 kills, 11 digs) the volleyball team fell to Roberts Wesleyan in four sets in an East Coast Conference matchup on Friday in Rochester. The team is now 8-7 on the season.
Queens came out and took the opening set, 25-22. QC took a 4-0 lead behind the strong serve of Francesca Indoni. The final point of the set came from a DiCocco kill.
Set two went to the Red Hawks, 25-23. The teams were tied at 18-all, before Roberts Wesleyan went on to take the set, 25-23. They would win the next two and take the match in four sets.
The Queens College volleyball team returns to action on Saturday, when they continue their ECC road trip upstate against Daemen.
