Knights clip Concordia in three straight sets

In their last non-conference game of the season the Knights got back to their winning ways beating the visiting Concordia Clippers 3-0 tonight in Flushing. With the win the Knights improve to 8-14 overall as the Clippers fall to 4-16.

The opening set was back and forth early with the Knights finally pulling ahead and taking momentum winning the first set 25-20 and never looking back winning the next two sets 25-16 and 25-19. Lotoya Edward had a very well rounded game with 11 kills , 11 digs and 11.5 points proving to be a very solid backbone for the match.  Crystal Gordon also chipped in with 14 points and 12 kills with a kill percentage of .455 which could not have been done without the help of setter Stephanie Schroeder, who provided 29 assists on the night. The Knights also got help from Sophomore Alexa Santiago who had 12 digs, the most of the match.

The Knights return to action next Tuesday November 2nd when they take on N.Y.I.T on the road. This will start a run of three consecutive conference games to close up the season.
