COLONIA, N.J. – In the sixth East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Report, three Queens College outdoor Track & Field student-athletes were honors. Rookie
Celeste Minkwe Jore (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) was named Track Athlete of the Week. While the rookie duo of
Jordyn Cruz (Holbrook, N.Y.) and
Dorian Boyd (Freeport, N.Y.) were named to the Honor Roll sheet.
Track Athlete of the Week
Minkwe Jore paced the Knights at the CCSU Blue Devils Invite with a first-place finish in the 4x100m relay (50.98), while adding a runner-up showing in the 100m (12.73), fourth place in the 200m (26.31), and third place in the 4x400m relay (4:13.57).
Honor Roll
Cruz recorded the fourth-fastest 800m time among her East Coast Conference counterparts, placing third at the CCSU Blue Devils Invite with a mark of 2:17.50. Also, she placed first in the 4x100m Relay Race with a time of 50.98.

At the CCSU Blue Devils Invite, Boyd turned in a strong effort in the 400-meter dash, clocking a time of 50.39 for a ninth-place finish.
Next Meet
Queens heads to Rochester, N.Y. for the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Thursday, April 30 hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University Redhawks. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
