COLONIA, N.J. – The East Coast Conference announced its 2026 Outdoor Track & Field major award winners on Tuesday, June 2, and Queens College junior Carly Koprowski (Wantagh, N.Y.) was named the ECC Women's Track Athlete of the Year.

Koprowski becomes the first student-athlete in program history to earn the conference's top track honor.

Koprowski garnered All-ECC First Team recognition for the second consecutive season after successfully defending her conference title in the 800-meter run at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on April 30.

The Wantagh native continued her standout season at the West Chester University Last Chance Meet on May 8, posting a season-best time of 2:11.18 in the 800 meters. The mark ranked as the fastest time in the East Region and met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard of 2:11.25.

Koprowski heads into her senior season as one of the conference's premier middle-distance runners, having captured both the ECC Indoor and Outdoor 800-meter championships while achieving NCAA provisional qualifying marks this season.
