ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at the East Coast Conference Championship, with five Knights earning All-ECC honors.
Junior
Carly Koprowski (Wantagh, N.Y.) successfully defended her conference title in the 800-meter run, crossing the line first in 2:15.77. Rookie
Jordyn Cruz (Holbrook, N.Y.) followed in second place with a time of 2:16.88 (career-best time), as both Knights collected All-ECC First Team recognition.
Senior
Rachel Mow (Esopus, N.Y.) earned All-ECC Second Team honors in the 10,000-meter run after placing fourth in 40:09.27.
On the men's side, junior
Daniel DeGregori (East Meadow, N.Y.) secured All-ECC Second Team honors in the 1,500-meter run with a third-place finish in 4:13.73.
Lastly junior
Jalen George (Wantagh, N.Y.) also claimed All-ECC Second Team recognition in the shot put with a mark of 13.14 meters.
