BRONX, N.Y. – Returning to the course, the Queens College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Van Cortlandt Park to compete in the Queensborough Cross Country Invitational on Sunday.
 

5K Women's Highlights

• Senior Rachel Mow led the Knights with a strong performance, placing 6th overall with a time of 22:42.35.
• Sophomore Keira Whitaker followed with a 25th place finish in 24:42.65.
• Senior Brianna Call cracked the Top 50, clocking in at 26:57.79.
• Senior Maria Flores crossed the line in 27:18.94, finishing 56th.
• Senior Jennifer Salazar rounded out the scoring with a time of 30:03.04.

8K Men's Highlights

• Junior Daniel DeGregori led the men's squad with an impressive 5th place finish, posting a time of 29:37.79.
• Junior Nickolas Pirovolikos took 22nd in 32:24.69, just ahead of rookie Nathanael Hansen, who placed 23rd with a time of 32:39.89.
• Sophomore David Earl Boyd placed 42nd, finishing in 34:44.59.
• Freshman Christian Panameno earned a 57th place result with a time of 36:07.53.

The Knights return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11, as they travel to Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J., to compete in the 21st Annual NJIT Cross Country Invitational.
