COLONIA, NJ. – In the sixth East Coast Conference men's and women's cross country weekly report sheet released Tuesday afternoon two Queens College men's and women's cross country student-athletes were honored for their performances.
On the men's side, senior
John Ray (Bellerose, N.Y.), and on the women's side junior
Rachel Mow (Espous, N.Y.) was awarded a Honor Roll spot.
On the year the men's and women's cross country program has a found on the ECC Weekly Report Sheet a total of 10t times.
Honor Roll - John Ray (Bellerose, N.Y.)
For the fourth time this year, Ray has earned a spot on the Cross Country weekly report sheet as he was named to the Honor Roll sheet.
Competing in the NJIT Highlanders XC Challenge Saturday afternoon Ray recorded a career-best time of 26:09.9 to earn a 12th-place finish. Ray's finish was the highest among his ECC counterparts in the meet.
Honor Roll - Rachel Mow (Esopus, N.Y.)
For the fourth time this year Mow has earned a Honor Roll spot on the weekly report sheet.
Competing in the NJIT Highlanders XC Challenge Saturday afternoon Mow recorded a career-best time of 19:57.8 to notch a 25th-place finish in the meet.
Next Meet:
The Knights will head to Long Island to compete in the St. Joseph's Long Island Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Kings Park, NY at Sunken Meadow State Park to conclude the non-championship segment of the schedule.
