BRONX, N.Y. – Returning to action Sunday in the Bronx, the Queens College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Van Cortlandt Park to compete in the Queensborough Invitational.
It would be an excellent showing on Sunday as the women's side placed sixth out of 17 teams, while the men's side placed sixth out of 21 teams.

- John Ray paced the Knights with a sixth-place finish with a time of 28:37.00
- Daniel DeGregori placed 13th with a time of 30:18.00.
- Peter Hoffmann recorded a time of 33:01.00 for a 33rd finish, while Jehu Ermlius notched a time of 34:12.00 for a 44th place finish as Queens saw four Knights place in the top-50.
- Kyle Daniels completed the course in 34:39.00, while Paulo Criollo and Dean Tirado rounded the course together with Criollo recording a time of 35:15.00 and Tirado notching a time of 35:23.00.

The Knights will use the week to prepare for the Highlander XC Challenge hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ at Branch Brook Park on Saturday, Oct. 12.
