WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Queens College women's cross country team traveled to Williamsville to compete in the East Coast Conference Cross Country Championship at Bassett Park.
Junior
Rachel Mow paced the Knights with a career-best time as Mow became the first Knight to earn All-ECC Honors since the 2011 season. Saturday's championship meet would be a career-best performance for the Esopus native as she completed the 5K course in 19:39.8 to place 14
th.
Senior
Fatima Morrobel earned a 39
th place finish with a time of 22:08.0, while junior
Joy Leong recorded a time of 24:20.3 to earn a 52
nd place finish. Senior
Andrea Rivera notched a time of 24:37.5 to set a new career-best time as Rivera earned 53
rd place finish.
Junior
Jennifer Salazar notched a new career-best time of 25:38.6 for a 56
th place finish, and lastly, junior
Madelyn McMath recorded a time of 25:56.0 to earn a 57
th place finish.
Overall the Knights placed sixth out of eight teams.
