Marie Bertran (Villelaure, France) was named Player of the Week, while junior
Lilie Bizouerne (La Ciotat, France) was named to the Honor Roll sheet, earning back to back honors.
Player of the Week
Bertran went 2-0 in both singles and doubles as Queens opened ECC play with a dominant 7-0 sweep of St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. Teaming with sophomore
Johanne Genestay (Dinan, France), she secured a 6-0 win at #1 doubles. Bertran then closed out the day with a three-set win over Mar Caneves Bufi at #1 singles.
Honor Roll
Bizouerne also went undefeated in ECC action, posting a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles. Partnering with
Sixtine Goubet (Lyon, France), the duo earned a 6-3 win at #2 doubles. Bizouerne followed up with a dominant 6-2, 6-0 victory over Zhuozuan Sun at #2 singles to help complete the 7-0 team sweep.

The Knights kick off a two-match homestand on Thursday, October 9, when they host the Assumption University Greyhounds in Flushing. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
