FLUSHING, N.Y. – The NCAA officially announced the final seeding for the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship on Wednesday, as the No. 37-ranked Queens College women's tennis team learned its First Round matchup in Arizona.
For the second consecutive season, the Knights earned the No. 13 overall seed and enter the championship as the highest-seeded team from the East Region. Queens will face No. 4 seed and No. 6-ranked Catawba College in the opening round.
Queens enters the national championship with a 17-4 overall record and will make the program's 11th appearance in the NCAA Championship Final Rounds, including its third straight trip to the national stage.
The NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championship Finals will take place May 19-23 at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona.
The Knights are scheduled to take on Catawba on Tuesday, May 19 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
