DANCING! No. 37 Queens Women’s Tennis Earns 24th NCAA Tournament Berth, No. 1 Seed in East Region

FLUSHING, N.Y. – On Monday evening, the NCAA announced the Division II Women's Tennis Championship field, and the nationally ranked No. 37 Queens College women's tennis team earned the No. 1 seed in the East Region.
 
Led by 47th-year head coach Alan Nagel, the Knights enter the tournament with a 16-2 overall record. Queens secured the East Coast Conference automatic bid with a 4-0 victory over D'Youville University, marking the program's 24th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
 
The Knights will host the two-day East Regional beginning Friday, May 8, through Saturday, May 9, inside the QC Indoor Tennis Bubble. Queens will await the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 matchup, scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m.
 
Queens will face the winner on Saturday, with first serve set for 6 p.m.
 
The Knights are seeking their third straight berth to the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Finals, set for May 19-23 in Surprise, Arizona, at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex.
