Cross Country Wraps Up Regular Season with Strong Showing at St. Joseph’s Invitational

KINGS PARK, N.Y. – Before the East Coast Conference Championship, the Queens College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park to compete in the St. Joseph's Invitational on Saturday.
 
The women's team finished 5th out of 26 teams, while the men's team placed 4th out of 25.

5K Women's Highlights

  • Senior Rachel Mow led the Knights as she placed first with a time of 20:47.2.  
  • Sophomore Keira Whitaker followed with a 23rd finish with a time of 23:28.7.
  • Senior Brianna Call placed 33rd with a time of 24:14.1.
  • Senior Maria Flores crossed the line in 25:52.1.
  • Senior Jennifer Salazar recorded a time of 26:37.1 while freshman Kezia Hamilton completed the scoring with a time of 28:30.5.

8K Men's Highlights

NEXT MEET:

The ECC Championship returns to Long Island for the first time since 2019. The Knights will compete again at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday, Oct. 25, with the men's race starting at 10:00 a.m. and the women's race at 11:00 a.m.
