NEW YORK, N.Y. – Competing inside The Armory for the first time this season the Queens College men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Ramapo College Season Opener Friday morning.
 

Men's Meet Highlights

• In the 60m Dash sophomore Kadeem Patterson placed 38^th with a time of 7.29, sophomore Diara Guy finished 43^rd with a time of 7.35, while Junior David Adekoya notched a time of 7.58 and junior Dami Babalola recorded a new season best time of 7.61.
• In the 60m Hurdles, Babalola recorded a time of 9.41.
• In the 200m Dash Patterson placed 13^th with a time of 22.69, Guy placed 32^nd with a time of 23.30, and Ezequiel Zapata recorded a new PR with a time of 23.97.
• In the 400m Dash sophomore Kyle Gault recorded a time of 53.47 and Kyle Bazemore notched a time of 59.12.
• In the 800m Run, Jehu Ermilus recorded a new PR with a time of 2:07.32, while rookie Dean Tirado notched a time of 2:08.78 and senior Peter Hoffmann recorded a new PR with a time of 2:09.16.
• In the 3000m Run, senior John Ray recorded a new PR with a time of 8:56.69 to place 8^th and set the fastest time among the ECC competition, sophomore Daniel DeGregori placed 17^th with a time of 9.19.70.
• In the Long Jump, senior Hakeem Griffiths recorded a mark of 6.77m to place 8^th, and senior Zack Sow tallied a mark of 5.86m before setting a PR in the Triple Jump with a mark of 12.32m.

Women's Meet Highlights

• In the 60m Dash Maria Flores recorded a time of 9.69.
• Sophomore Kierstin Galloway set a new PR in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 10.94.
• In the 200m Dash sophomore Moisa Moneus notched a new PR with a 30.43 and junior Jennifer Salazar recorded a new season-best time of 31.86.
• In the 400m Dash, senior Fatima Morrobel recorded a time of 1:04.60, the 12th fastest time among her ECC counterparts, and Salazar recorded another season-best time of 1:12.90.
• In the 1 Mile Run junior Rachel Mow placed 34^th with a time of 5:42.83 and senior Andrea Rivera recorded a time of 6:57.02.
• Junior Joy Leong notched a time of 12:49.85 in the 3000m Run.
• In the Shot Put junior Madelyn McMath recorded a mark of 7.87m

NEXT MEET

The Knights return to The Armory on Saturday, Feb. 8 as they compete in the Millrose Games. The first event is set for noon.
