COLONIA, N.J. – In the second East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Report, Queens College junior Jalen George (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named Field Athlete of the Week. Junior Carly Koprowski (Wantagh, N.Y.) earned a spot on the Honor Roll.

The Knights opened their outdoor season at The Big Hurt, hosted by St. John's University. George led the way in the field events with a first-place finish in the shot put, recording a mark of 13.20 meters.

Koprowski claimed first place in the 800m run, crossing the line in 2:14.51.

Next Meet

The Knights return to action on Friday, April 10, when they host the QC Knights Invitational. Field events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., followed by running events at noon.
