Knights Compete in the New York City Gotham Cup

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Queens College men's and women's indoor track and field teams returned to Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday afternoon to compete in the New York City Gotham Cup.

Women's Highlights

Men's Highlights

  • In the 60m dash, junior Jason Udo recorded a time of 7.47, while sophomore Lurtim Mehmedi ran 7.96. While in the 200m Dash, Udo recorded a time of 24.40, and Mehmedi posted a time of 25.66.
  • Competing in his third event of the day, Mehmedi recorded a mark of 5.03m in the Long Jump.
  • In the 400m Dash, Dorian Boyd recorded a time of 51.41.
  • In the Long Jump, David Earl Boyd recorded a mark of 5.45m.
  • In the 3000m Run, junior Nickolas Pirovolikos recorded a time of 10:18.88, and sophomore Robert Palacios notched a time of 11:15.69.
  • In the 1 Mile Run, sophomore Mateo Serringer posted a time of 4:53.56.
  • In the 800m Run, rookie Nathanael Hansen tallied a time of 2:17.78.
  • In the Shot Put, senior Jalen George notched a mark of 11.92m, and a mark of 15.10m in the Weight Throw.

NEXT MEET:

The Knights are off until Friday, February 6, when they return to the Ocean Breeze Complex to compete in the Fastrack National Invite. The first event is scheduled to begin at noon.
