STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Returning to the Ocean Breeze Complex Friday afternoon the Queens College men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans Invitational.

Men's Meet Highlights

• Junior David Adekoya placed eighth in 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.71.
• In the 60m Dash sophomore, Diara Guy placed in the top 50 with a time of 7.25, while sophomore Kyle Gault recorded a time of 7.31.
• In the 3000m Run, senior John Ray recorded a time of 9:03.17, while in the 800m Run, Ray notched a time of 2:08.32.
• In the One Mile Run, junior Musa Mazreku recorded a time of 4:53.85, while senior Kyle Daniels notched a time of 5:02.16.
  • In the 800m Run, Mazreku notched a time of 2:10.58.
• In the 200m Dash, sophomore Kadeem Patterson notched a time of 22.69 to place 17^th, while Guy recorded a time of 22.99 for a 33rd-place finish.
• In the Long Jump, senior Hakeem Griffiths recorded a mark of 6.52m.
• In the 1000m Run, rookie Dean Tirado notched a time of 2:50.97 to place 13^th, junior Jehu Ermilus placed 14^th with a time of 2:51.61, and rookie Mateo Serringer placed 16^th with a time of 3:01.13.

Women's Meet Highlights

• Sophomore Kierstin Galloway notched a time of 9.11 in the 60m Dash.
• Junior Joy Leong notched a time of 12:15.42 in the 3000m Run.
• Junior Rachel Mow recorded a time of 5:50.07 in the One Mile Run.
• Sophomore Moisa Moneus notched a time of 1:12.25 in the 400m Dash.
  • In the 200m Dash, the sophomore recorded a time of 30.72, senior Maria Flores recorded a time of 31.58, and junior Jennifer Salazar notched a time of 32.49.
• In the 800m Run, senior Fatima Morrobel placed seventh with a time of 2:24.13.
• Senior Andrea Rivera notched a time of 4:10.74 in the 1000m Run.
• In the Shot Put junior Madelyn McMath recorded a mark of 7.69m

NEXT MEET

The Knights return to Staten Island on Friday, Jan. 17 to compete in the New York City Gotham Cup. The first event is set for a noon start.
