FLUSHING, N.Y. – It will be an eight-game week for the Queens College Softball team as the Knights get set for four games in New Hampshire before concluding the week in East Coast Conference play.
Queens travels to New Hampshire in a two-day trip beginning with a stop in Manchester against the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday (Apr. 10) afternoon before concluding the trip against the Ravens of Franklin Pierce University on Thursday (Apr. 11) afternoon.
It will be short rest for the Knights as they will host defending ECC Champions Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College on Friday (Apr. 12) afternoon before traveling to Dobbs Ferry on Saturday (Apr. 13) afternoon against the Mavericks of Mercy University to conclude their four-game series.
Following a rest day on Sunday, the Knights will wrap up their ECC series against the Spartans on Monday (Apr. 15) afternoon in Sparkill.
Scouting the Knights (10-11 Overall, 4-2 ECC Record)
- Head coach Amy Delmore and the Knights enter the week with an overall record of 10-11 and 4-2 in ECC play. The Knights are coming off a 2-2 weekend having earned a DH split against D'Youville in ECC play and a non-conference split against Felician
- Freshman utility Caylea Campbell (Murrieta, CA) leads the way on both sides of the field as the rookie holds a team-high .382 batting average with 21 hits, seven doubles, three home runs, six runs scored, four walks to go with 17 RBI.
- In the circle, the rookie has recorded a team-high seven wins in 74.0 innings allowing 78 hits, 25 earned runs, 24 walks, and has struck out 60 batters with an ERA of 2.36.

- Wednesday's meeting will be the second straight series meeting against the Penmen and the first series in Manchester with the Knights trailing the series 1-3. Last year the Penmen earned the sweep in Flushing on March 18.
- Peyton Feldman leads the offense batting .393 with 33 hits, seven doubles, 11 RBI, three walks, and 13 runs scored.

- The Knights lead the overall series 43-25 and are 18-14 in Dobbs Ferry against the Mavericks since 2000.
- Queens earned their first sweep over the Mavericks since the 2019 season when they earned the ECC opener DH victory in Flushing on March 21. Queens is looking for their first win in Dobbs Ferry since the 2022 season and their first ECC series victory since the 2016 season when the Knights won the series 3-1.
- Shannon Sisco leads the team with a team-high batting average of .442 with 34 hits, four doubles, two triples, one home run, nine RBI, two walks, and 19 runs scored.
- While Samantha Franck is batting .364 with 24 hits, eight doubles, nine home runs, two walks, 18 runs scored, and leads the team with 24 RBI.
- In the circle, Mackayla Secoda leads the teams with four wins having pitched 55.2 innings allowing 65 hits, 29 earned runs, 21 walks, and has struck out 33 batters.
