FLUSHING, N.Y. – Seventh-year head coach Stefan Leger and the Queens College women's volleyball team open the 2026 season at home, hosting the fourth annual Aline Pascale Lubin Invitational Aug. 28-29.
 
Leger and the Knights enter the new campaign following a 10-18 season that saw Queens narrowly miss out on a fourth consecutive East Coast Conference (ECC) Tournament appearance. With a new-look roster and coaching staff, the Knights will look to return to postseason play and make a run toward an ECC championship.
 
Leger will be joined on the sidelines by second-year assistant coach Chye Davis, while Queens alum and former All-ECC honoree Sarah Munn joins the coaching staff for the 2026 season.

With just three returners from last season, Queens will feature a host of new faces looking to make an immediate impact. The 2026 roster consists of eight freshmen, three juniors and one senior as the Knights begin the season with a youthful and retooled squad.
 
In 2025, Queens averaged 10.5 kills, 9.5 assists, 2.0 aces, 14.0 digs and 2.0 blocks per set.

Aline Pascale Lubin Invitational – Day One

Hosting the Aline Pascale Lubin Invitational, the Knights welcome Post University and American International College on Friday, Aug. 28.
 
Queens opens the season against Post, which is coming off a 26-6 campaign that saw the Eagles advance to the NCAA East Region semifinal round. Friday's matchup will mark the 11th meeting between the two programs, with the Knights holding a 7-3 all-time record against Post. It will also be the sixth meeting in the last five seasons, with Queens holding a 4-1 advantage during that span.
 
Following its opener, Queens will face AIC for the seventh time in program history. The Knights are 3-3 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, with the two programs meeting for the second consecutive season in Flushing. Queens will look to avenge a four-set loss to AIC from Sept. 24, 2025.
 
AIC enters the season after posting an 18-8 record last year and advancing to the NCAA East Region Quarterfinals.

Aline Pascale Lubin Invitational – Day Two

The Knights return to action Saturday, Aug. 29, welcoming Wayne State College to Flushing for the first time in program history.
 
The matchup will mark just the second meeting between Queens and the Wildcats. The teams last met during the 2004 season in Greenvale, where Wayne State earned a four-set victory. The Wildcats are coming off a 27-5 season that saw them advance to the NCAA Central Region Quarterfinals.
 
Queens will then close out the weekend against Bloomsburg University in the first meeting between the two programs.

The Huskies finished 10-18 last season and will make their first trip to Flushing as part of the two-day invitational.
