FLUSHING, N.Y. – After earning a 1-0 road victory over Georgian Court University on Saturday, the Queens College women's soccer team returns home for a two-match week against a pair of non-conference opponents.
Head coach Thomas Paris and the Knights enter the week with a 3-1 overall record and a 2-1 mark at home. On Tuesday, Queens remained at No. 9 in the latest United Soccer Coaches East Region poll, earning back-to-back regional rankings for the first time in program history.
Through four matches, the Knights have scored eight goals while averaging 2.0 goals and 16.5 shots per match. Queens has posted three shutouts, with its lone setback coming against nationally ranked No. 24 Bentley University.
Senior Ashley Kieblesz leads the Knights with five goals and 10 points. Kieblesz was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31 before earning a spot on the ECC Honor Roll on Sept. 7. She has scored two game-winning goals this season, including her 81st-minute tally that lifted Queens to a 1-0 victory over Georgian Court on Saturday.
Senior goalkeeper Samantha Hines-Hirsch earned her second consecutive ECC weekly honor, landing on the Honor Roll on Monday, Sept. 7. She recorded a season-best five saves in the shutout victory over Georgian Court.
Rookie Mia Hanson and senior Anna Tavantzis have combined for eight points, recording two goals and four assists.
The Knights open a two-match homestand Wednesday against Pace University before welcoming Dominican University of New York to Flushing on Saturday.
Pace University Preview
The Setters enter Flushing with a 2-1 record and are coming off a 2-1 loss to East Stroudsburg University on Sunday. Pace is ranked No. 7 in the latest United Soccer Coaches East Region poll after receiving votes in last week's national poll.
Wednesday's matchup marks the 10th all-time meeting between the programs, with Queens trailing the series, 3-5-1. The Knights earned a 1-0 victory in their last home meeting against the Setters on Sept. 24, 2024.
Dominican University of New York Preview
The Chargers enter the week with a 1-1 record and will host Mercy University on Wednesday before traveling to Flushing for Saturday evening's matchup.
Saturday's contest marks the ninth all-time meeting between the programs, with Queens holding a 4-2-2 series advantage. The Knights earned a 3-0 victory over the Chargers in their last home meeting on Oct. 30, 2024.

Queens hits the road Wednesday to face Southern Connecticut State University before returning home Saturday to host defending East Coast Conference champion Roberts Wesleyan University.
