FLUSHING, N.Y. – Returning home after a six-game road trip, the Queens College softball team welcomed the Setters of Pace University to town for a non-conference doubleheader at QC Softball Field Wednesday afternoon.

Alyssa Wilkinson (Bayside, N.Y.) and sophomore shortstop
Allie Parascandola (East Quogue, N.Y.) earned walks but the Knights would fall in game one to the final score of 4-0.
In the circle, Campbell
(L, 8-7 7.0 IP, 9H, 4ER, 3BB, K) would be tagged with the loss as the Setters notched four runs on nine hits.
The second game of the doubleheader would be canceled due to rain in the Flushing area.

The visitors would double their advantage in the top of the fourth using three straight hits to take a 4-0 lead.
Trailing 4-0, Baez and Murphy opened the bottom of the fourth with back-to-back singles before the Setters retired the third batter of the inning. Wilkinson would earn a five-pitch walk to load the bases as Queens threatened to cut their deficit with only one out.
