FLUSHING, N.Y. – In her 11
th year in charge of the Queens College men's tennis program, head coach
Somadi Druker and the Knights have announced the 2025 campaign.
Coming off a splendid 2023-2024 year which saw Druker and the Knights go on a historic run that began in the fall with an Individual ITA East Regional Singles Championship by
Roni Rikkonen before the Knights went on to have a terrific spring 2024 year by winning the East Coast Conference Regular Championship, the ECC Tournament Championship crown before earning a trip to the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship finals in Orlando. Queens would conclude the 2023-2024 year with an overall record of 17-7, 5-1 in ECC play, and a 4-1 postseason record.
During the 2024 Fall campaign, the Knights competed in the ITA East Regional Championship with junior
Lucas Foix Sotos (Javea, Spain) advancing to the Quarterfinals of the Singles Tournament. Also, Queens competed in two Fall Invitationals hosted by Hofstra University and Fordham University.
The 2025 slate features 14 matches with 11 of them taking place inside the QC Indoor Tennis Bubble. Out of their 14 matches, the team will open up against four straight Division I local foes.

rd NCAA Tournament appearance gets underway with five straight non-conference matches beginning on Friday, Feb. 7 against the Pride of Hofstra University.
Following their Hofstra match Queens will welcome the Sharks of Long Island University to town on Friday, Feb .14.
It will be a battle of Knights on Wednesday, Feb. 19 as the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson University come to Queens.
Queens will conclude their Division I foe slate against the Rams of Fordham University on Friday, Feb. 28.
On Wednesday, Mar. 5 Druker and the Knights open their Division II slate as the Greyhounds of Assumption University come to town for the first time since the 2006 season.
ECC play gets underway on Friday, Mar. 7 as the Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia visit Flushing to conclude a two-match week.
It will be a return to non-conference action on Friday, Mar. 14 as the Knights welcome the Panthers of Adelphi University.
Following seven straight matches at home, Druker and the Knights head to Washington, D.C. on Friday, Mar. 21 to conclude their two-match ECC series against the Firebirds.
Continuing ECC play, the Knights will make a quick stop in Flushing on Friday, Mar 28 as they welcome the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College before traveling to Sparkill, N.Y. on Friday, Apr. 4 to conclude their series against the Spartans.
Druker and the Knights will conclude non-conference play in Flushing with two matches in three days beginning with the Rams of Thomas Jefferson University on Monday, Apr. 7 before the Griffins of Chestnut Hill College come to town on Wednesday, Apr. 9.
Queens will conclude their ECC slate against the Wildcats of Daemen University starting with a trip to Amherst, N.Y. on Saturday, Apr. 12 before the Wildcats visit Flushing on Friday, Apr. 18.
Druker and the Knights will host the ECC Men's Tennis Championship Tournament as the quest for an 11
th ECC Championship crown and to complete a hat-trick is slated from Friday, Apr. 25 – Saturday, Apr. 26.
The NCAA Men's Tennis Championship Tournament is set to begin on Friday, May 9 – Saturday, May. 10 with the First and Second Rounds.
The Championship final will take place at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, FL from May 20-24, 2025.
