STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Returning to the Ocean Breeze Complex Friday afternoon the Queens College men's and women's indoor track and field team competed in the Seahawk Shootout 2024 hosted by Wagner College.
 

Men's Meet Highlights

• Sophomore Kyle Gault made his debut in the 60m Dash and recorded a time of 7.31.
  • In the 300m Dash Gault notched a time of 37.53.
• Sophomore Diara Guy recorded a time of 7:35, while classmate Kadeem Patterson recorded a time of 7:35 in the 60m Dash.
  • In the 300m Dash Patterson recorded a time of 36.48, while Guy notched a time of 36.49.
• In the 600m Run, junior Jehu Ermilus notched a time of 1:32.19
• In the 1000m Run rookie Dean Tirado recorded a top 10 finish with a time of 2:40.72.
• In the 1 Mile Run, senior John Ray placed 12^th with a time of 4:29.38.
  • While in the 3000m Run Ray recorded a time of 9:13.70 to place 15^th in the meet.
• Sophomore Daniel DeGregori recorded a time of 9:22.63 in the 3000m Run.
• In the 60m Hurdles, junior David Adekoya placed 15^th with a time of 8.72.

Women's Meet Highlights

• Rookie Asia Kirkpatrick recorded a best mark in the 300m Run with a time of 44.27.
• Senior Fatima Morrobel placed 12^th in the 600m Run with a time of 1:42.14.
• Junior Rachel Mow placed 22^nd with a time of 5:41.53 in the 1 Mile Run.
• In the 3000m Run junior Andrea Rivera recorded a time of 14:13.39.
• In the Shot Put event, senior Hayley Matthews notched a mark of 9.40m.

NEXT MEET

The Knights will be off until Friday, Jan. 3 when they return to Staten Island to compete in the Wanger College Invitational. The first event is set for a noon start.
