ROCHESTER, N.Y. – As he has done all season long, graduated student
Njehan Phillip (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the way for the Queens College men's cross country team at the East Coast Conference championship Saturday morning at the Matt St. James Cross Country Trails.
Phillips led the Knights to a fifth-place finish as he rounded the 8K race in 27:25.8, to record the fifth-fastest time in Queens College men's cross country record book at the ECC championship. He would place 14
th, while junior
Steven Cuascut (Queens Village, N.Y) completed the course in 28:03.4 to finish 17
th on the day.
Freshman
Andrew O'Gorman (Melville, N.Y.) completed the course with a time of 31:32.4 to finish 28
th on the day.
Valeriy Borkun (White Plains, N.Y.) would record a 31
st place finish with a time of 36:21.8, while teammate
Keith Hyland (Levittown, N.Y.) finished with a time of 37.32.8 to complete the ECC championship for the Knights.
