Cross Country Inks First NLI Signee

FLUSHING-  Queens College Head Cross Country/Track and Field Coach, Robert Davis, has announced the program's first National Letter of Intent (NLI) signee for the upcoming 2020-21 season: Natalia Cuttler. Cuttler is a native of Islip, NY and a member of the Cross Country/Track and Field team at Islip High School.Cuttler

Cuttler's performance in the 5000 meters continued to improve throughout her senior year. In her first meet at the Jim Smith Invitational, she finished with a time of 23:46.60. Subsequently, her time improved by 24 seconds in the next meet at the Suffolk Officials Invitational on October 12th as she clocked in at 23:22.04. Participating in the Section XI Division Championship, Cuttler recorded her best time of the season at 23:11.14 and in her final race at the Class B Section 11 Championship, Natalia clocked a time of 23.33.07.
 
Cuttler intends to major in Accounting while at Queens College. She comes to Queens with a list of accomplishments and awards, including the High Principal Honor Roll, member of the World Language Honor Society, Sales Pitch for VE Gold Finish and more. She is a Scholar-Athlete, Suffolk Zone Award Winner and an All-League selection.

Coach Davis is looking forward to having Cuttler on the team this Fall and believes that she will  "make a huge impact on the cross country team."
