Volleyball Drops Three-Set Contests to Nyack and Le Moyne Saturday

FLUSHING, N.Y. (Sept. 7, 2019) - Playing their second tri-match in as many days, the Queens College volleyball team opened Fitzgerald Gymnasium for the 2019 season by hosting Nyack College and Le Moyne College in the first day of the Long Island Invitational. The Knights did not fare well in either match, unfortunately, losing to both schools in three sets and dropping their overall record to 1-3 on the season.

The Knights fell by scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 15-17 to Nyack before losing 25-16, 25-15 and 25-16 to the Dolphins of Le Moyne. Le Moyne also swept Nyack in the middle match of the Saturday triple-header.
