Crosdale Leads Way from Bench as Men's Basketball Faces Pace Saturday

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2019) - Junior guard Tyrese Crosdale shot 5-for-11 from the floor and had a team-high 13 points for the Queens College men's basketball team but the Knights were cold from beyond the three-point line in a 62-50 loss to Pace University on Saturday (Nov. 9) at the Center for Recreation and Sport on the campus of Adelphi University in Garden City.

Queens (0-2) shot just 7-for-29 from three-point territory on the afternoon, with Crosdale hitting 3-of-6 from distance. Elijah Bovell was the only other Knight in double-digit point numbers as the junior guard poured in 11 points while David Grady III narrowly missed a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds. Keenan Gorski also added eight points for Queens in the losing effort.

Peyton Wejnert led Pace and all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Christian Adams contributed 13 points and nine boards in the win for the Setters.

The Knights return to action on Wednesday (Nov. 13) as the team plays its home opener against American International College at 7 p.m.
